About Bethel Temple
Early Readers Preschool is a subsidiary of and located at Bethel Temple Church of God in Christ or Bethel Temple COGIC (learn more about COGIC). Bethel Temple has more than 50 years of history in south Fresno founded in 1968. Its 'mission is to minister' to individuals, families and communities.

Early Readers Preschool has dedicated staff who are caring professionals with the education, employment and practical experience raising, supporting and educating young children.
Carla Hill
Director
Mrs. Carla Hill is the Director/Site Supervisor
and she has more than 24 years of experience in early education and childcare operations.
She received an A.S. Degree from Fresno City Colleges in Early Childhood Development in 1997 with honors.
Her experience including eight years as a preschool teacher including as four years with Fresno EOC Head Start. For 16 years she owned and operated a family day care in southwest Fresno.
Mrs. Hill has designed her own reading program which she implemented and documented with video recording for two years. She also participated in conducting her “Pre-Reading In Preschool” (PRP) seminars for the Family Day Care Association during her time as a daycare provider introducing to other teachers how to teach preschoolers to read.
Other related experience includes:
* She has been a Sunday School teacher for 40 years.
* She has been a foster parent since 2008, and has had over 200 hours of parenting classes for special needs children
* She has twelve years of experience of working with children with ADD and other special needs.
Mrs. Hill been married to educator, Pastor Tate Hill Sr. since 1977. She have three children-- Tate II, Paul and Candice. now all adults whom she taught to read as preschoolers and during kindergarten.
